So I went to the doctor last Thursday, that was kind of strange. I had to see a new doctor and the appt. went completely different than usual. No sonogram, because this doctor doesn't do them unless he is checking for the babies gender, I was measured which I am measuring about 36 weeks, we heard the heartbeats and that was it! I know this was probably a totally normal appt. for most people but I am used to seeing my babies each time I go, yes I know I am spoiled but one gets used to these types of things. So it was very strange to not see my little ones. He said I was measuring normal for twins. Not under not over. My blood pressure was 120/70 as usual. It hardly ever changes. It seems to be higher at work...Well these days I am swelling pretty bad. My feet, legs and hands are not looking that pretty. I would have to say that my feet and legs are way worse off than my hands, although the swelling is causing my hands to hurt and be numb. I can't walk much without getting completely grouchy. My back starts hurting really bad and the swelling gets worse. I just pray that me and my babies make it to 36 weeks which is in 15 days. What a milestone that will be!!!! The babies should be of good weight and can arrive at anytime after that!! I can't wait to see their cute little faces, wonder who they will look like???
So this weekend Daniel and I had pictures taken. What a day that was. We went to the mall to find me and outfit, that sucked. I am getting huge and nothing looks right, my arms are pasty white and I have no shoes that fit my swollen feet. So I finally found a shirt that I thought looked the best. Left there to look for a pair of flip flops or something to wear on my feet. That's when things started getting really ugly. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8, I have wide feet to begin with well I couldn't even squeeze my foot into a 11 flip flop with out my foot turning white. HOW SAD! So on the the next store where I bought men size 8 Crocks. Yes they are way to big but they fit! We went home, changed and went back to the mall for pictures and guess what she wanted my feet to be in the pics, so off went the shoes! The pictures turned out pretty good. No complaints other than I spent a little more than expected, they get you with this and that and you don't realize it until you leave! Or well I didn't lol.
This week has been pretty good, no major complaints other than I wish I could do something about this swelling and sleep better but hey it is all worth it in the end. I can hang with it for just a few more weeks!!! Check out our pictures! Enjoy! Oh and one more thing, my little angel of a lady won't stop doing flips in my belly. She is once again breech. I swear this little girl is going to be a very active child, while little Noah is going to be laid back and chill!!!
I found you via your sisters blog today! I have twin girls who were born at 29 weeks...so being so close to 36 weeks in your case is great! My son was also born early (at 36 weeks) and had no problems! I am your newest follower & cannot wait to read more on your story & see how things unfold once your twins are here! Please don't hesitate to ask questions if you need to...my girls are now 18 months old...so I know all too well what you are about to embark on!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I am new to this whole blogging thing but I welcome you with open arms! Your twins are precious! And so is you son. I cant wait to finally meet mine. I have to ask, do they act like they did while they where in your womb? I have heard they usually do. If that is the case I am going to have one wild little girl! If you don't mind me asking what caused your twins to arrive early? I am praying that we make it two more weeks. I think as long as my blood pressure stays down they should make it. But I have noticed it going up slowly.
